AAARRRRRRGH!!!

AAARRRRRRGH!!! Co-written with Al Kline, this screenplay about the pirate women Mary Read and Anne Bonny who sailed under Captain "Calico" Jack Rackam and were sentenced to hang in 1720 was performed as a live, theatrical read complete with costumes, sound effects and made complete with the talented Mark Lewis narrating. It was a free show for the Eugene/Springfield locals. The cast and tech crew were amazing that night. The sound design was memorable especially when re-creating the sound of cannons and breaking masts slamming the ocean!  The curse tirade performed by Peter Anthony Holden was GREAT! Early eighteenth century slang is fun to hear!

Special thanks to Mark Lewis whose magical voice made this pirate tale come to life!
